My Name Is Bob Clark

This site is a small collection of some of the projects I’ve worked on over the years.

In the early 1990s I began my design path by trying to recreate album covers and skateboard company logos in MS Paint. Later in 2000, I started teaching myself film photography, Photoshop, and HTML (coding everything from scratch in MS Notepad). Over the Following decade I did freelance work as a graphic and web designer working with local businesses. In 2009 I began the path to my career within the design field at ECPI University in Virginia Beach, VA, where in the spring of 2012, I graduated with a BS in Web Development and Graphic Design.

I currently live in the Raleigh-Durham area, and work for iCiDIGITAL as a Graphic Designer /  Marketing Coordinator.  Before my current position, I was a Graphic Designer II on a marketing team for Boats Group, based in Norfolk, Va. where I worked to update boats.com as a brand by redesigning collateral, web pieces for both internal and customer facing projects, email design, print displays, trade show booths, as well as make front-end design updates to the Boats Group website. I have also worked as a responsive web designer, designing and developing websites on the BootStrap framework on the DNN CMS.

Aside from working full-time, I’ve also volunteered my time and design skills for the past year to the non profit group Nakawe Project, helping with their shark, turtle, and ocean conservation campaigns.

I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), HTML, CSS, and also have some experience with PHP, JavaScript and jQuery. My portfolio encompasses a wide range of projects from website design and development, promotional advertising for web and print, and logo design.
